About Us
Meet your neurodiversity allies
Divergent Minds Psychology is the clinical practice within ND Mind Pty Ltd.
We provide strengths-based, neuro-affirming and trauma-informed support — primarily via telehealth Australia-wide, with future in-person options at our planned clinic in Maryborough, Victoria (in development).
What we do
In therapy, we work across neurotypes and presentations — supporting people who are diagnosed, undiagnosed, self-identified, or still exploring what fits — using a strengths-based, person-centred and trauma-informed approach.
Meet the owner, Karen
Karen is a registered psychologist with lived experience of ADHD and autism.
As the founder and principal practitioner of ND Mind, Karen is dedicated to creating safe, accessible spaces for neurodivergent individuals to explore, grow and self-advocate.
Who we support
We support adults across a wide range of neurotypes and presentations —including people who are diagnosed, self-identified, questioning, or still figuring things out.
Our approach is neuro-affirming (accommodating different brains, not forcing people to mask), person-centred, and trauma-informed. Sessions are paced to your capacity and can include flexible communication options where helpful.
What's next
Divergent Minds Psychology is the starting point of a broader ND Mind mission: to build a neuro-affirming community offering allied health, education, community connection, and practical supports over time.
This community will eventually come together in the space at the old Maryborough Flour Mill (pictured) which will be used flexibly to meet the community's needs.
